THE VAN
We were lucky to stumble across Este after months of searching for the perfect van. A 1974, Renault Estafette with barely any horsepower left and original white paint work. Giving her a makeover but keeping all her charm is what we set out to do. A coat or three of her new custom colour and a new back door handle that wasn't from a garden gate, and she was ready. A loving restoration that continues to prevail its quaint French'ness but now looks at home in any modern surrounding too.
Inside she is fully kitted out with all the essentials to make quality, speciality coffee on the road. Design and flow is important to us so we kept as integral to her age by using old woods and various old pieces to create our set up. All while creating a high spec, easy to use and high volume work space. Despite being in the back of a van, the drinks we produce will rival most stationary coffee shops!

ABOUT US
Ginger and Blue Travelling Coffee Co. finally became a reality at the end of 2019. Spending previous years in coffee related jobs, gathering knowledge and experiencing businesses from lots of angles. My love for coffee fits perfectly within Este, being able to live out my slightly nomad fantasy combined with the ability to have my ideal coffee set up move around with me. The biggest compliment for me is walking away from the van and being asked, 'Oh, so how do you know her?'! Grabbing a coffee is about more than the drink you buy. It's the random conversations, and unexpected people you meet.
I hope one day Ginger & Blue will have a more permanent second home within a shop, however for now our four wheel ride is just perfect.
